This region is composed by three beautiful provinces: Mendoza, San Juan and La Rioja, featuring unique desert-like landscapes in the hole country.
Mendoza, known as the "Tierra del Vino" (wine land), is located in the middle of the desert and at the foot of the Andes Mountain Range. Among its many attractions, this blessed by nature province offers unrivalled beauty well worth being visited all year round.

The province capital city, also called Mendoza is well known for its squares matched by well kept streets, ancient trees which frame each of the impeccable corners. From Mendoza head west into the high Andes. This unforgettable climbing road, passing through picturesque small villages, reaches the 4,200 mts. (12,800 ft.) at the "Cristo Redentor" (Redemptive Christ) area.
On a clear sky day the vistas of the Aconcagua and the surrounding mountains are just incredible. You also donīt want to miss visiting the world-renowned Argentinean wineries.

Located alongside the border between San Juan and La Rioja, the two most important pre-historical National Parks of Argentina are awaiting for you. Valle de la Luna National Park on one side of the border and Talampaya National Park on the other are only 10 km. away from each other, featuring some of the oldest geological formations on earth.

Valle de la Luna (Moon valley) is one of the major depression discovery in the world, where you can see the unparalleled imprints and the fossilised remains of ferns and dinosaurs. The Talampaya Canyon (215,000 sq. km.) is a refuge for condors and has pre- historic rock carvings.
