There are nearly three kilometres of waterfalls at Iguazu Falls. Vision is lost, the endless tumbling of the waters stuns, the walks, moistened by mist or soaked by the splash of the falls against the pools and rocks. This National Park is home to more than 2100 plant species and 400 bird species. The waters flowing over the 275 different falls, descend from a height of 70 meters (214 ft.).
For a few more days

Jesuit Ruins: Close to Posadas you came to the ruins of The Jesuit Missions where the San Ignacio Mini is the most outstanding example, declared as part of Humanity's Heritage by UNESCO. Near the ruins you can spend some time in the semiprecious stone field of Wanda.

Ibera Marshlands: At this enormous geological depression, made up by lagoons, marshlands and pools, you will see birds, turtles, caimans, swamp deer, capybaras as well as a large variety of bird species and flora.

Other waterfalls: There are at least another thirty falls in the area, being the most important ones the Mocona Falls.
Useful Hints / We recommend you to spend at least 3 days at Iguazu. However if you have more time we suggest you to spend a few more days in order to visit the Jesuit Ruins. Also don't miss the "Jungle Explorer" excursion.
